We all had our shares of 'luck' running out while travelling. It could be a flight missed or stay at the worst hotel or sudden climate change at your dream vacation. But can this 'unlucky' moment help you in some way?
A travel insurance firm has launched a unique contest "World's Unluckiest Traveler" - where you can send in your unlucky stories, videos and photos to this website. Every month, they're giving away a Flip MinoHD camcorder to the unluckiest Traveler with the top entry of the month as voted on by users. At the end of the year, all winning entries will stand a chance for the title of 'World's Unluckiest Traveler' and the ultimate grand prize — $10,000 Ultimate Dream Vacation.
It's interesting to see, how a bizarre/unfortunate situation can be used for promotion of a useful product such as travel insurance.
